Der Deutsche Motor Sport Bund (DMSB) stellt als deutscher ASN und FMN seit 2025 nur digitale Lizenzen aus. Diese sind von FIA und FIM anerkannt. Auf dieser Seite informieren wir ausländische Veranstalter, wie sie Lizenzen der DMSB-Lizenznehmer überprüfen.
As the German ASN and FMN, the German Motor Sport Federation (DMSB) has only been issuing digital licences since 2025. These are recognised by the FIA and FIM. On this page, we provide foreign organisers with information on how to check the licences of DMSB licence holders.
Lizenzprüfung im Ausland
Für die Prüfung der digitalen Lizenzen durch ausländische Veranstalter gibt es drei Möglichkeiten. Alle drei dargestellten Varianten sind für die Lizenzprüfung im Ausland zulässig und von FIA und FIM genehmigt:
- Mit QR-Code: Der DMSB-Lizenznehmer scannt mit seinem Smartphone den QR-Code auf seiner Motorsport-ID und zeigt seine digitale Lizenz via Smartphone vor.
- Ohne QR-Code: Der DMSB-Lizenznehmer meldet sich über einen Internetbrowser, beispielsweise auf seinem Smartphone oder seinem Laptop, mit seinen individuellen Zugangsdaten im DMSBnet unter www.dmsbnet.de an und kann dort seine Lizenzen über den Button „Meine Lizenzen“ anzeigen lassen.
- Mit Ausdruck: Der DMSB-Lizenznehmer hat die Möglichkeit, vorab im DMSBnet eine Offizielle Lizenzbestätigung seiner Lizenz als PDF-Ausdruck zu generieren. Diesen kann der Lizenznehmer ausgedruckt bei der Lizenzprüfung vorzeigen. Dieser Ausdruck ist grundsätzlich 8 Tage gültig. Bitte achten Sie auf den korrekten Gültigkeitszeitraum.
Gültigkeit der digitalen Lizenz
Die Gültigkeit der digitalen Lizenz kann auf einen Blick direkt auf der Lizenz eingesehen werden: Auf gültigen Lizenzen werden ein grünes Kästchen und das Wort „Gültig“ angezeigt. Ungültige Lizenzen erhalten ein rotes Kästchen und die Worte „Nicht gültig“.
Informationen zur digitalen Lizenz
Mit der Saison 2025 stellt der DMSB seinen Fahrern nur noch digitale Lizenzen aus. Diese sind auch international gültig, wenn die entsprechende Startberechtigung auf der Lizenz vermerkt ist. Zudem bekommt jeder DMSB-Lizenznehmer einmalig eine sogenannte Motorsport-ID zugestellt. Dies ist das neue, offizielle Ausweisdokument im deutschen Motorsport und liegt dem Fahrer entweder als Scheckkarte oder digital in seiner Wallet vor.
Über den QR-Code auf der Motorsport-ID oder nach Login im Lizenzportal des DMSB, dem DMSBnet, kann die Gültigkeit der Fahrerlizenz geprüft werden. Hierbei ist zu beachten, dass ausländische Veranstalter aus datenschutzrechtlichen Gründen leider keinen direkten Zugriff auf die personenbezogenen Daten der DMSB-Lizenznehmer im DMSBnet haben.

Artikel 1.5 Ausstellung der Lizenzen
Internationale Fahrerlizenzen werden, sofern nicht anders angegeben, vom ASN des Fahrers in Übereinstimmung mit dem Sportgesetz und dem vorliegenden Anhang L ausgestellt, nachdem der ASN überprüft hat, dass die Ergebnisse, die Befähigung und das Verhalten des Fahrers gemäß den für die beantragte Stufe vorgeschriebenen Kriterien als zufriedenstellend bewertet wurden.
Format der Lizenzen
Die ASNs können die Lizenzen in gedruckter und/oder digitaler Form ausstellen.
Es wird dringend empfohlen, einen Mechanismus zur Bestätigung der Gültigkeit und/oder des Status der Lizenz einzuführen, um die Dokumentenabnahme bei den Wettbewerben zu erleichtern (Beispiel: ASN-Website-Portal).
Aus Gründen des Umweltschutzes und der Nachhaltigkeit wird nachdrücklich empfohlen schrittweise digitale Lizenzen einzuführen.
Die digitale Lizenz ist des DMSB-Lizenznehmers ist international gültig, wenn die entsprechende Startberechtigung auf der Lizenz vermerkt ist. Die Startberechtigung finden Sie am Ende der digitalen Lizenz. Gegebenenfalls muss der Lizenznehmer beim Vorzeigen der Lizenz auf seinem Bildschirm nach unten scrollen, um den vollständigen Text anzuzeigen. Außerdem befindet sich dort auch der Nachweis der Unfallversicherung.
Licence check abroad
There are three options for the verification of digital licences by foreign organizers. All three options shown are permitted for licence verification abroad and approved by the FIA and FIM:
- With QR Code: The DMSB licence holder scans the QR code on his motorsport ID with his smartphone and presents his digital licence via smartphone.
- Without QR Code: The DMSB licence holder logs into the DMSBnet at www.dmsbnet.de via an internet browser, for example on his smartphone or laptop, using his individual access data and can display his licences there by clicking on the ‘My licences’ button.
- With Printout: The DMSB licence holder has the option of generating a PDF printout of their licences in advance on DMSBnet. The licence holder can present this printout at the licence inspection. This printout is generally valid for 8 days. Please pay attention to the correct validity period.
Validity of the digital licence
The validity of the digital licence can be viewed at a glance directly on the licence: Valid licences display a green box and the word “Valid”. Unvalid licences have a red box and the words “Not valid”.
Information on the digital license
From the 2025 season, the DMSB will only issue digital licences to its drivers. These are also valid internationally if the corresponding starting permission is noted on the licence. In addition, every DMSB licence holder will receive a one-off motorsport ID. This is the new, official identification document in German motorsport and is available to the driver either as a cheque card or digitally in their wallet.
The validity of the driver's licence can be checked using the QR code on the Motorsport ID or after logging into the DMSB licence portal, DMSBnet. Please note that for data protection reasons, foreign organisers unfortunately do not have direct access to the personal data of DMSB licence holders on DMSBnet.

1.5 Issuing licences
International Drivers’ Licences are issued by the driver’s ASN, unless otherwise indicated, in compliance with the Code and the present Appendix L, and after it has verified that the driver’s results, competence and conduct are satisfactory according to the criteria prescribed for the requested grade.
Licence format
Licences can be issued by ASNs in printed and/or digital format.
It is strongly recommended that a mechanism to confirm the validity and/or status of the licence be put in place to facilitate competition administrative checks (example: ASN website portal).
For environmental and sustainability reasons, it is strongly recommended to progressively implement digital licences.
The digital licence of the DMSB licence holder is internationally valid if the corresponding starting permission is noted on the licence. The starting permission can be found at the end of the digital licence. If necessary, the licence holder must scroll down on his screen when showing the licence to display the full text. Proof of accident insurance can also be found there.
Vérification des licences à l'étranger
Il existe trois possibilités pour la verification des licences numériques par les organisateurs étrangers. Les trois variantes présentées sont autorisées pour la verification des licences à l'étranger et approuvées par la FIA et la FIM:
- Avec code QR: Le licencié DMSB scanne avec son smartphone le code QR sur son Motorsport-ID et présente sa licence numérique via son smartphone.
- Sans code QR: Le licencié DMSB se connecte au DMSBnet via un navigateur Internet, par exemple sur son smartphone ou son ordinateur portable, avec ses données d'accès individuelles sur www.dmsbnet.de et peut y afficher ses licences en cliquant sur le bouton « Mes licences ».
- Avec impression en pdf: Le licencié DMSB a la possibilité de générer au préalable sur le DMSBnet une confirmation de licence officielle de sa licence sous forme d'impression PDF. Le licencié peut l'imprimer et la présenter lors de la verification de licence. Cette impression est en principe valable 8 jours. Veuillez veiller à ce que la période de validité soit correcte.
Validité de la licence numérique
La validité de la licence numérique peut être consultée en un coup d'œil directement sur la licence : Les licences valides sont accompagnées d'une case verte et du mot «Valide». Les licences non valables sont marquées d'une case rouge et des mots «non valable».
Informations sur la licence numérique
À partir de la saison 2025, le DMSB ne délivrera plus que des licences numériques à ses pilotes. Celles-ci sont également valables au niveau international si le droit de participation correspondant est mentionné sur la licence. De plus, chaque licencié du DMSB recevra une fois pour toutes ce que l'on appelle un Motorsport-ID. Il s'agit du nouveau document d'identité officielle dans le sports motorisés allemand et le pilote le reçoit soit sous forme de carte bancaire, soit sous forme numérique dans son portefeuille numérique.
La validité de la licence du pilote peut être vérifiée via le code QR sur le Motorsport-ID ou après connexion au portail des licences du DMSB, le DMSBnet. Il convient de noter que les organisateurs étrangers n'ont malheureusement pas d'accès direct aux données personnelles des licenciés DMSB dans le DMSBnet pour des raisons de protection des données.

En tant qu'ASN et FMN allemande, la Fédération allemande du sports motorisés (DMSB) ne délivre que des licences numériques depuis 2025. Celles-ci sont reconnues par la FIA et la FIM.

1.5 Délivrance des licences
Les Licences Internationales pour Pilotes sont délivrées par l’ASN du pilote, sauf indication contraire, conformément au Code et à la présente Annexe L, et après vérification que les résultats, la compétence et le comportement du pilote sont satisfaisants au regard des critères prescrits pour le degré demandé.
Format des licences
Les licences peuvent être délivrées par les ASN sous forme imprimée et/ou numérique.
Il est fortement recommandé de mettre en place un mécanisme de confirmation de la validité et/ou du statut de la licence afin de faciliter les contrôles administratifs dans le cadre des compétitions (exemple : portail web de l’ASN).
Pour des raisons environnementales et de durabilité, il est fortement recommandé de mettre progressivement en œuvre des licences numériques.
La licence numérique du licencié DMSB est valable au niveau international si l'autorisation de départ correspondante est mentionnée sur la licence. L'autorisation de participation se trouve à la fin de la licence numérique. Le cas échéant, le licencié doit, lorsqu'il présente sa licence, faire défiler son écran vers le bas afin d'afficher le texte complet. En outre, l'attestation d'assurance accident s'y trouve également.
